Another perfect session in the estuary... I enjoyed every minute of it.

I got on the water around 9am with a 5.0m sail that I had rigged as flat as possible and it was perfect. The sail felt as though it wasn't there and I was straight onto the plane on every run and blasting across the choppy waters of the estuary. The wind was much more constant than yesterday, the sun shining and I was sailing well.

BEFS came out just after me but only had 5.3m sail and 112ltr board, both of which were a little too big for him. Radical Rob came out with a 4.7m and was going OK, so there must have been LOADS of wind!! SeanBo was doing well on his 4.2m as well. Quite a few other people were out too, mainly on 4m - 4.5m sails. Richard, Ben, Stevebus and the guy with the red van were out again as were a few others that I didn't know. Derek was out kiting as usual.

I went across to Aberdovey once at high tide and there were some nice head high standing waves in the channel which were fun. I went across again a little later to play on them, but by this time the current was far too strong in the channel and things were a little dodgy, so I stayed away from it for the rest of the session.

Anna walked down to the beach for a bit and stood there watching and chatting to Jane. Jane really wanted to get out, but can't at the moment. The Australian guy from Aberdovey sailed across again as well, and today was worried about getting back because the wind was dropping off.

The wind dropped off a little around 1pm so I packed up and went home, leaving a few others out playing in the dying wind and rapidly receeding waters.

Not quite five stars for me though because there weren't any real waves to play on and I didn't go for anything new.
